With electrical experience going back three generations, hands-on excellence in electrical services and installations are wired into the blood of the Barger family. Today’s lead electrician in Simi Valley, Rick Barger Jr, began his electrical apprenticeship at age of 16 while still in high school.
Soon after graduating high school, Rick Barger Jr. would begin his own career as an apprentice electrician with Strictly Electric of Woodland Hills, where his residential electrical service then included new custom home construction as well as remodeling. It wouldn’t be long until Rick picked up on some of the most demanding aspects of being an electrician, after just a few years he became a journeyman electrician at Strictly Electric. As a journeyman, he not only developed his hands-on electrical expertise, but also the in-and-outs of customer service and management.
In 2006, Rick went on to further his career as an electrician in Simi Valley with LaRusso Electric. While under this electrical contractor, he excelled in all aspects of general electrical contractor services. His expertise as an electrician expanded into commercial electrical contracting for new commercial projects, commercial upgrades and improvements, and overall commercial electrical system safety and security.
In 2010, Rick ventured out to launch his own electrical contractor company which is known today as Barger Electric of Simi Valley.

We estimate by the job, not the hour. You are given the final price before we even begin any electrical service. If it takes us longer then expected, you’re not charged, our electricians are trained to make the repairs efficiently which saves you time and money.
Scheduling
We give you a small (2) hour window, unlike most electrical contractors, and we call 30 minutes before we get there.
Travel Charge
We tell you up front about our travel charge, No Suprises, No Hidden Fees.
Warranties
We have at least a (1) year warranty on all electrical parts and labor that we do, and up to (5) years on a majority of things. Our goal is to fix it right once, the first time. For some reason if it fails, we will be out day or night to fix it at no cost to you. We state the warranty on every invoice.

We offer same day emergency service to customers daily, we understand that your problems need to be fixed now!
